Taylor (tom)
Taylor (tom) - Eng. schrijver, 1817—80, was prof. in het Eng. aan University College Londen. Schreef honderd tooneelwerken, origineel of in vertaling, o.a. Masks and Faces; Our American Cousin; Still waters run deep; Joan of Arc. Hij leverde vele bijdragen voor het tijdschrift Punch, schreef ook Life and Times of Sir Joshua Reynolds (1865).
