Lutjebroek (municipality of Stede Broec)
Village, originated in the 12th century as peat reclamation along the Streek, the reclamation axis between Hoorn and Enkhuizen. In 1402, Lutjebroek was admitted to the Broec Stede. The Horn developed as a second axis at an angle to the extraction axis (P.J. Jongstraat). After the Second World War Lutjebroek was mainly extended on the east side.
