Cuvilliés, François de
(1695-1768), Frans architect. Was na 1725 in München werkzaam, waar hij meewerkte aan de Residenz. In het park van Nymphenburg bouwde hij de Amalienburg, zie barok – Duitsland – bouwkunst – profaan; zie rococo – Duitsland – architectuur; zie negentiende eeuw – eerste helft - architectuur - Duitsland.
