ASCAP
Amerikaanse auteursrechtenorganisatie, opgericht in 1914. Officiële naam: The American Society Of Composers, Authors and Publishers. In tegenstelling tot het Nederlandse Buma/Stemra heeft ASCAP geen monopolie. De andere grote organisatie op dit gebied in de VS is BMI. Zie ook: BMI.
