The switching station in Laren
(Remiseweg 12) of the Hollandsche Electriciteits Maatschappij (H.E.M.), later P.E.N., consists of an office part with an underlying switch building. The station was established in 1917 to a sober expressionist design by J. van der Goot and C.J. Kruisweg.
