Engels toneel- en filmacteur, *5.10.1919 Worksop (Nottingham). Pleasance vertolkte een rol in de films Halloween (1979), The monster club (1980) en Halloween n (1981).
Hij trad ook veel op voor de televisie, o.a. in The Barchester chronicles (1982), The Falklands factor (1983) en Master of the game (1984).
