Windmills in Oudorp

On the south side of the Hoornse Vaart there are four of the six poldermills built around 1630 of the form. Barrier atrium, namely the mills B, C, D and E (Molenkade 6-9). On the Schermerringvaart is the polder mill of the Geestmerambacht 't Wuiver 35 from 1632. All these windmills are reed-grounded octopus sailors on a wood-covered base. The corn mill 't Rode Hert (Frieseweg 102), a reed mill on a wooden substructure, was transferred from Zaandam in 1924 to replace a fire destroyed by fire.
