betekenis & definitie

(Korte Zijlweg 12). This outside originated in 1904 after merging with the country estate Duinzigt, to which the present country house belonged. This in 1880 to an eclectic design by D.E.L. van den Arend built house was extended at the rear in 1903, presumably after a design by S. Roog. The interior was redesigned in 1905 according to Ed's plans. Cuypers.

The landscaped park construction from 1916 is designed by L. A. Springer and contains remains of a late-18th-century landscaping park (south side). A flat-topped or plastered orangery (1836) stands near a plastered eclectic gardener's house (Korte Zijlweg 14, 1861). On the other side of the road there is a coach house with stable (Korte Zijlweg 17-23, 1871).
