The Van Houten Church in Weesp

betekenis & definitie

(Oudegracht 69) is a richly detailed neo-Romanesque hall church with built-in tower, built in 1905-'06 to design by B.J. Ouëndag. This church was commissioned by the ladies J.S. from the villa of chocolate manufacturer Van Houten. and H.C. van Houten built for the Dutch Protestants Association. The interior has a wooden barrel vault. The original decoration and furniture are well preserved, including the P.J. Adema & amp; Zn. built organ (1907).
