The R.K. St. Odulphus Church in Wijk aan Zee

betekenis & definitie

(St. Odulstraat 6) is a one-aisled church with five-sided apse and a tower of three sections with needle spire and attached staircase tower. This neo-Gothic church, which was restored in 1978, was built in 1889-90 to plans by C.L.M. Robbers to replace a 17th-century hiding church. The organ (1754), which was built in a hiding church in Kethel and was built by Pieter Assendelft, was placed and extended here in 1891. There are also crossroads of F. Loots (1899-1904).
