The R.K. O.L. Vrouwe Visitatiekerk in Oosterblokker

betekenis & definitie

(Oosterblokker 68) is a single-nave church with a three-sided closed choir and a gable tower with a wooden lantern. This neoclassical church was built in 1845-46 according to Th. Molkenboer. The inventory includes a communion bank (circa 1846), a main altar (1902) and striking large carved neo-Gothic crossroads (late 19th century). The latter were probably manufactured by H. van der Geld.
