The Herv church in Zuiderwoude

betekenis & definitie

(Dorpsstraat 1) is a hall church with a wooden gable tower with a narrowed spire. This neo-Gothic church was established in 1877 according to T.C. van der Sterr at the site of an older church. The church, restored in 2004, contains a pulpit with wooden desk (circa 1660). It from the Herv. church in Beuningen from the Gradussen organ (1863) was placed in an existing organ case (1877, H. Knipscheer). The presbytery (Dorpsstraat 2) is a plastered cross house from 1912.
