The Herv church in Wormer

betekenis & definitie

(at Kerkstraat 4) is a partially plastered hall church with cast iron arched windows and a wooden bell tower, built in 1807 to replace a Gothic church. On the north side there is a conservatory room in neo-Renaissance style (circa 1880). The interior with a tomb floor contains an inventory with pulpit, doophek, pews and two gentlemen's banks from the third quarter of the 17th century. There is also a ship model (early 18th century) and an organ built by P. Flaes (1865).
