The Herv. Church in Watergang

betekenis & definitie

(Dorpsstraat 33a) is a one-aisled church with five-sided closed choir and a small wooden gable tower with a narrowed spire. This church, built in a Gothic style, was erected in 1642, restored in 1796, and in 1832 it was given the current façade with a façade. The church, which was restored in 1985, contains a pulpit in Louis XIV style, a baptismal roof with baptismal arch, a decommissioned signboard, a ship model (everything circa 1730) and an organ built by H. Knipscheer (circa 1860).
