The Herv church in Ursem

betekenis & definitie

(Kerkpad 4) is a hall church with block plaster, lisenen and round arch windows. In the wooden roof rider above the front wall is a clock cast by Johan Nicolaas Derck (1733). This neoclassical church was established in 1846-47 to design by E. de Kruyff to replace a church from 1659. The interior contains an organ built by M. Maarschalkerweerd (1894) with neo-Louis XVI cupboard. The presbytery (Kerkpad 1, 1859, H. Linse) has a higher risen middle ressault and a roof covered with Oegstgeester pans.
