The Herv church in Muiderberg

betekenis & definitie

(Kerkpad 2), located on the Kavelberg, is a one-aisled church with three-sided closed choir and an unearthed tower with battlements. This 15th-century late Gothic church was only restored in 1686 after a fire in 1630. In a fire in 1934, the steeple was lost. The current award dates from the subsequent restoration led by N. Doornberg. The interior covered with a wooden barrel vault contains furniture from 1934. The form. presbytery (Brink 7) is a neoclassical mansion from 1880.
