The former council house in Schellinkhout

betekenis & definitie

(Dorpsweg 108) is a transverse building with basement and landing stairs, built in 1765 (facing brick) by Jan Roos and Remmert Schuijt. The basement contained the weigh house and a cachot. The form. council chamber on the first floor has tiled walls with tile pictures with representations of Justice, Hope and Love (1782).
