(Cattenhagestraat 8) is a two-storey cross-country building with a 17th-century core. The stately façade, built around 1800, has checkered corner ramparts and a sandstone entrance frame crowned with vases. From 1795 to 1828, members of the Heshuysen family lived in the house, after which it was converted into an orphanage. After 1928, the building received varying destinations and in 1985 the city archives were housed here. The interior contains two regents' rooms and in the middle of the back house a hall (now a painting hall) with a trompe l'oeil wall painting on canvas.
