From about 1890 onwards the houses with eclectic details date Zuid Zijperweg 43, with wooden front, and Noord Zijperweg
22 with ajour sawn top shot. The same (unknown) architect was responsible for the villa Dilemma (Noord Zijperweg 19, circa 1910) and the mayor's residence De Strook (Noord Zijperweg 33; 1911). The forms that are related to Art Nouveau are also visible at the villa Noord Zijperweg 27 (1911). Designed in 'Um 1800' forms is the villa Noord Zijperweg 2 (circa 1910).
