Among the older houses is the 18th-century wooden center house Kerkbuurt 27-29 with entrance listing in Louis XVI style. From the 19th century, among others, the double wooden houses Kerkbuurt 93-95 (1879), Noordeinde 106-108, Zuideinde 273-275 and Kerkstraat 225-227, and the small houses Noordeinde 148 and De Haal 21. Built around 1900 are middle-class houses Kerkbuurt 55 with neorenaissance details, and Kerkbuurt 116 with stepped gable above the entrance. The small villa De Haal 33 (1907) has colored ornamental masonry and decorative carvings. The houses Kerkbuurt 72 and 68 date from the same period.
