Residential homes in Landsmeer

betekenis & definitie

The deep house Dorpsstraat 53 has a seventeenth-century core with a wooden skeleton (three-aisled design). In the 18th century it was given brick facades and a (later renewed) cantilevered wooden spout on styles. Inside are paneling and a chimney from that time.

A similar 18th-century crossing wooden spout has the Zuideinde 46 wooden building. An ordinary wooden spout has the Zuideinde 48 neighboring building. Good examples of wooden single-storey buildings with hipped roofs are the late-18th century house Dorpsstraat 37 with Louis XVI details and the late -three-century houses Dorpsstraat 2 and 43 (1874), Noordeinde 164 and Van Beekstraat 30. The notables house Dorpsstraat 54 is a substantial two-storey house with framed entrance and eclectic details, built in 1863 by order of Simon Dirksz. Examples of brick middle aisle houses are Dorpsstraat 31 (1863) with eclectic details and Noordeinde 8 (circa 1905). A ornamental pant has Zuideinde 11 (circa 1905). The double mansion Zuideinde 54-56 (circa 1915) has details in green glazed brick.
