betekenis & definitie

The plastered neoclassical country house Elswoutshoek (Elswoutslaan 2) was designed in 1807 by B.W.H. Ziesenis built on the site of a 17th-century farmhouse. This house was enlarged and rebuilt around 1840 and around 1920. The eclectic country house Tetterode (Zijlweg 17), built around 1865, has a landscaped garden, presumably designed by L. A. Springer. The plastered house in Nieuw Historiserend style was created in 1927 by the design of A. de Maaker with an accompanying coach house and a double service residence (Bloemendaalseweg 250-250a) from the Belvedère country estate (Bloemendaalseweg 244). The park layout is a design by L. A. Springer.
