Built in 1752 for military use, the form. turf shed (Nieuwe Haven 33), a block-shaped building with high ground floor. The revolving roof is supported internally by three standard finches. The building came into use in the 19th century as a storage place for affairs, fire spraying, etc .; now it is a restaurant. The form. Garrison's infirmary (Gansoordstraat 24-28) is an 18th-century building, built in 1754 by the Deacon of the Herv. The municipality was purchased for the housing of the elderly and orphans, and from 1809 (with interruptions) served as a hospital (converted in 1832).

At the complex were some buildings built around a courtyard (Ruijsdaelplein 29-35, partly rebuilt), with a pharmacy, morgue and a building for contagious diseases. The form. post office in Naarden with director's house (Pastoorstraat 18) is an L-shaped corner building from 1902, built in neo-Renaissance style with stepped gables and at the bevelled corner a cantilevered bay and an eight-sided corner turret.
