Onderdijk in Wervershoof

betekenis & definitie

This ribbon village in the 19th century, north-west of Wervershoof, is wedged between the Westfriese Omringdijk and the Grote Vliet. The form. R.K. primary school (Nes 30) was built around 1890 and shows a statue of St. Gerardus Majella.

For a long time the building served as a clothing company. In traditionalist style, H.P.J. de Vries built R.K in 1928-'29. St. Gerardus Majellakerk (Nes 134). In the slender roof with a saddle roof placed next to this cross-church, a Mabilon & amp; Co. molded clock (1929). The church contains side altars from the construction period and a main altar from 1948. The form. Tourist Church (Nes 15) is a small traditionalist church from around 1960.
