Old Crailo in Huizen

betekenis & definitie

(Museumlaan 1). This country estate southwest of Huizen dates from 1628. The current plastered neoclassical house was created in 1856 and was rebuilt in 1899 and 1923 (bay window).

At the house were also the form designed by C. Muysken in chalet style and commissioned by P. Langenhuizen. coachman's house with stable (Museumlaan 2, 1881) and the forem. gardener's house (Museumlaan 3; 1890). From the landscaping of J.D. Zocher jr. From around 1856, the driveway and the straight linden lane remain. In 1929, the garden on the south-west side was changed to a new architectural style. The entrance gate is from 1923.
