There were laundries in the backyards of some buildings designed as transversal or longhouse farms, for example at Dammerweg 79 (circa 1896) and Dammerweg 85 (circa 1900). The director houses Huize Vecht and Dijk (Dammerweg 101-102) were built in 1924 at a laundry.
