The form. guest house Poststraat 4-6 is an elongated two-storey building from 1898 with flat roof, wide wooden veranda and above that covered balconies with carvings. Other late-19th-century examples with wooden verandas are Hogeweg 64-66 (circa 1880) and hotel-pension Marisstraat 11 (1900). Now as Zandvoorts Museum is in use, it is foremost. village cafe Het Wapen van Zandvoort (Swaluëstraat 1), a single-storey building (dating from around 1900) with neo-Renaissance details and a wooden veranda.
