The recently renovated two-storey building Noordeinde 1 / Marktstraat 2 originated from two late-16th century buildings. Traditionally, Marktstraat 2 housed the inn or the café 'De Jonge Prins'. In 1939 both parts came into the possession of one owner. The white plastered café Parkzicht (Wandelweg 51) was built in 1896 in eclectic forms next to the Wilhelminapark.
