The building Googweg 1 was in use in the 18th century as a court house, was decorated as a hotel around 1795 and after some renovations in 1881 it got its current appearance with chalet style details. It was also extended with a low transverse wing with an open wooden gallery when in 1881 it became the tram station for the Amsterdam-Muiderberg tram line. The stuccoed eclectic building Boschlust (Brink 25-26) was established around 1900 as café 'De Echo' at the location of the burnt-down mansion 'Elsnerus'. It now serves as a residence.
