The older buildings include the late-18th century transverse single-layer buildings Schans 17-21, the mansion Schans 25 (circa 1820) and the in 1851 for M.J. Kiebert built transverse house Sjalom (Dorpsstraat 36a) with raised middle section and neo-gothic porch.

From the beginning of the 20th century, the double house Thamerlaan 2 (circa 1905) with simple neoclassical door parties, the house Amsteldijk Noord 27-28 (1909) with spouted façade and three-sided roofs, and the simple citizen houses Thamerlaan 15-16 and Amstelstraat 20 -22 (all about 1910). Expressionist details show the worker housing Burg. Van Mechelenstraat 23-33 (circa 1920) and business-expressionistic in shape are the villas built around 1925 Thamerlaan 27, Amsteldijk Noord 26 and the Weyde Blik (Amsteldijk North 32A). The now-serving café, Wilhelminakade 5, has a traditionalist bell façade (circa 1945).
