In the village center there are several wooden houses. The oldest is Dorpsstraat 19 from 1656 (year on door calf) with wooden gables with a carved broker. The interior contains a tiled double chimney (17th century) with a wooden smuiger (18th century), and a wooden bedstead in the anteroom and a paneling in the back room.

The late 19th-century brick-and-mortar houses Dorpsstraat 36, 47, 123 and the one-room-house Dorpsstraat 66 are predominantly timber-framed. The Dorpsstraat 62 residential and shop building is largely made of wood, with a brick façade with colored masonry dating from around 1905.

The villa Solbacka or 'Zonneheuvel' (Dorpsstraat 2), built with the chalet style elements, decorated with chalet style elements, decorated with chalet style elements Sonnevanck (Dorpsstraat 4) and the villa Dorpsstraat 7-9 are white plastered villas in sober eclectic forms from around 1865.
