Near the Meent (Brink) are some houses that were built as a farm, such as the 18th century Berghuis (Brink 31) with rooms in the transversely placed front house. In the early 19th century the plastered single-layer transverse house Flevolaan 1 is closed off. Examples of cross-country farms are Krakenstein (Brink 18, circa 1870) - built on a former country estate - and Brink 3-4 (1880).
