Farms in Kortenhoef

betekenis & definitie

A 17th century origin has the plastered farm house Kortenhoefsedijk 99 with thatched roof and left a basement and upstairs room.

There is a haystack in the yard. The longhouse farm Kortenhoefsedijk 149 dating from 1754 (door frame) has a gable with plaits. The longhouse farm Koninginneweg 16 from 1886 is characterized by bands and stretches in yellow brick. A little younger are the small cross-country farms Emmaweg 39 (circa 1900) and Kortenhoefsedijk 78 (1904). Examples of small peaters or agricultural laborers' homes are Moleneind 64 (circa 1850) and the small transverse houses Moleneind 2, 29 and 78 (circa 1900). More spacious are the gardeners' houses, such as Kortenhoefsedijk 162 (circa 1910) and Kortenhoefsedijk 142 (1926).
