Psychologie en Sociologie is geschreven door Ella Wijsman (1992).
‘Psychologie en Sociologie’ bestaat uit vijftien hoofdstukken die onafhankelijk van elkaar kunnen worden ingezet. Door de toegankelijke taal, de heldere definities en aansprekende voorbeelden uit het dagelijks leven is het boek zeer geschikt voor zelfstudie. Elk hoofdstuk bevat verdiepende tussenvragen en eindvragen waarmee de student zich goed kan toetsen. Het boek bevat een verscheidenheid aan vraagvormen, waaronder reflectievragen die de student de gelegenheid te geven om te onderzoeken waar de theorie betrekking heeft op haar/zijn eigen leven.
Ella Wijsman is gespecialiseerd in psychologie, persoonlijke ontwikkeling en relatiecoaching. Ze heeft jarenlange ervaring in het hoger onderwijs, zo was ze docent aan de Hogeschool Windesheim en de Open Universiteit. Momenteel werkt ze als zelfstandig coach, trainer en schrijver, naast Psychologie en Sociologie is ze de auteur van Gedrag in Organisaties
