Amerikaans filmproducent en regisseur, *29.9.1913 New York. Kramer begon zijn filmloopbaan in 1933 als cutter.
Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog richtte hij een filmmaatschappij op, de Kramer Productions. Sinds 1956 voert Kramer tevens de regie over zijn films, die vaak vraagstukken zoals het racisme, het fascisme, de atoombom aan de orde stellen.
