The Koggehuis in Medemblik
(Westerhaven 20) was originally a double 17th-century residence that was taken into use in 1797 by the craft of the Vier Noorder Koggen. During a radical renovation in 1800, the present sober façade was created with a framed entrance, a landing staircase and a cutting light in empire forms. The lower rear wing is partly still 17th century.
