The Herv church in Volendam
(Zuideinde 54), a square wooden church with a roof roof and a roof rifle looking like a bell-jar, was built in 1658 by the Hoorn mill maker Adriaen Jansz Nieng. The middle part has a painted wooden vault. In one of the four outdoor style spaces there is a portal and the consistory room. The inventory includes an early 17th-century pulpit.
