Locks and bridges in Weesp
The Noordersluis in the discharge of the Smal-Weesp on the Vecht was replaced in 1564 by a larger lock, and again in 1816-'17. The current quays on the Herengracht and the sluices with double chamber date from 1822-'23 (restored 1978).
